And yet more HIH thoughts

Ron’s accident portal making and the implications and reactions to it happening!
- considering that it came from the Islands pocket dimension (anchor point) opened at the other end in Sahara Desert Africa then tore across Africa pulling stuff into the Island Pocket (it had no anchor the other end) it would have had a number of consequences Wizarding Authorities would have to deal with in the aftermath.
- the first is the extent of the damage it caused in Africa while the actual Sahara part would have mainly brought sand to the Island it would possibly have brought other things as well as Earth is old and it wasn’t always a desert plus possibly the remains of World War II battles etc possibly even animals or people living or crossing the desert - then you get the areas it crossed that weren’t desert so have more life in the pathway; plants animals and even people in the way possibly caught up in the rip - then you have the rocks and minerals of the landscape ripped up as it crosses Africa add in who knows what go added to the makeup of the Island Realm from that rip across Africa a place that does mine things like gold and diamonds and other valuable stuff and with the effects of the stone in play adding to the Island Duplicating such geologic seams stolen from Africa would be both easy and permanent creating actual mining resources on the Island. All of which means anything could be on the Island aka the penguins for example.
- the second problem for the Wizarding Authorities is Finding what happened and explaining it to the rest of the Magical World - given that the portal Ron accidentally made had a rainbow effect want to bet it is similar the Rainbow Bridge of Asgard? (Chuckle)
You know it could easily be classified as a proto rainbow bridge as the bridge opened but it had no anchor the other end to stabilise the portal at the other end so wild and very unstable hense the rampage across Africa - Marvel has it generated at Asgard and the portal creating a runic anchor point at the destination which makes sense as that would anchor the other end and most likely that runic anchor was copied by some Wizards in the past and those records are buried in the DOMs around the world along with the power resonance of such Bridge Creation especially if the Gods were driven off my Wizarding Ancestors. The Rainbow Bridge is in conception very like the Stargate except it makes its own anchor the other end which in a way makes it more secure as the Asgard had control as it was all generated from Asgard on request as it was the only starting point - this matches the warlike nature of the Norse Gods as such they would want to be in control of such transport.
My thought here is if the Norse Gods retreated into a pocket dimension as did all the other Gods over time either driven off or voluntary you have to wonder if the Unspeakables have warning sensors in place to sound a warning about such sealed portals opening again and Ron’s little Portal accident set it off sending the Unspeakables into a tizzy trying to trace it’s origin but couldn’t as it came from an unrecorded pocket dimension ( chuckle)
Contemplate that especially if the Norse Gods had actually been driven off and Rainbow Bridge Access had been sealed in the past - such a tizzy due to fear of the Norse Gods attempting to break free Of the seal etc given their warlike Viking mentality
You have to wonder if the ICW will be discussing the implications of Ron’s little portal Mishap next meeting after all it ripped across Africa causing havoc and I suspect not all of it was the Sahara add in it being a possible precursor to the return of the Asgardians and it would be an interesting meeting there might even be a report on how they were handling the security fallout of the Dwarf Mammoth incident. Fun!
